Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Graduate Sales Engineer, as well as spending time in Sales’ key areas of operation, your specific role in Sales and Marketing will allow you to apply your business know-how to develop long term, global business relationships. This role is Newton Abbot site based and includes regular business travel to customer locations worldwide.

You will be involved in all aspects of sales activities, looking for new opportunities for our generator set packages and long-term maintenance solutions. Targeting a wide range of industrial Power generation industries across Europe and Russia, as well as developing energy markets and new technology offerings such as zero carbon, green hydrogen-ready heat and power solutions.

You may already have business/engineering experience and have established a good understanding of business development and marketing. In the sales team, you will learn and support the sophisticated and detailed, high value sales process. Here, you will get to respond to customer queries, participate in virtual and face to face customer meetings and define quotations and tailored economic proposals.

Essential Requirements

Due to the nature of our business, you will have engineering knowledge and a formal degree in engineering, awarded ideally within the last 2 to 3 years. Flexibility, IT literacy and a good commercial awareness are essential, along with being proactive and well organised and having a methodical and logical approach to your work. A full driving licence valid in the UK and Passport valid for travel are also essential.
