This combined heat and power plant was designed to harness the Siemens Energy SGT-A05 KB5 3.9 MW capacity to power and supply steam for the site’s chemical processes, while also selling electricity to the grid. Thanks to BASF’s size and engineering expertise, they were able to take responsibility for the technical and commercial demands of the installation. But with the site only 45 minutes away from Centrax’s Italian service depot, we’re perfectly placed to provide fast support to BASF whenever they need it.
